“Don’t Talk To Me Before The Election.”

Alex is my colleague. A few months ago, we’re at an event when a social worker from a refugee center walks by. She sees Alex and starts to cry.

Alex turns out to be a political refugee from Rwanda. Ten years after her arrival, she becomes an official Belgian citizen. I follow her on her path towards her first election day. For a long time, she had to undergo the power of politics, now, the tables have turned.
